My magazine that I am designing is all about rock/indie music, gossip and Style. My target audience is going to be rock chicks/indie chicks. My magazine is going to appeal to this audience because of its style and contents and also because of the USP. The magazine’s USP is that it’s going to appeal to girls rather than guys. This is because it is going to be gossip based and is going to include extras like ‘hot guy of the week’ poster which would only appeal to girls.

Over all, from my survey i have very useful responses which will help me develop my music magazine. I have found that the majority of my respondents do not download music illegally. This has supprised me because ilegal download is easy and free. To prevent illegal download i am going to advertise free legal downloads in my magazine. The majority of my respondents said that unsigned bands are important to music magazines. There for i have decided that i am going to include unsigned bands in my music magazines. From my survey i have found that band gossip is important in a music magazine. So, i have decided to base the double page spread on gossip from a band's lead singer or something like that.

I think that the magazine cover that I have made works well. I think that the design and layout will appeal to sudents. The colour theme makes it look organised and not messy. I have used the "tips" as a pull line and i put it at an angle as the top layer to make it stand out.
I think that the contents page conects with the front cover because of the colour theme and the fonts used. I thinks that the gunge kind of effect works well and it will make it appeal to students.

CD Cover Front and Back

I think this Album Cover represents the band well. I wanted to make the band look Loud, Bold and with some attitude. The black wand white theme on the album covers gives the Attitude as well as the poses and looks on the band members. The name of the band and the name of the album gives a feeling that the band are teenagers. They have a hardcore attitude which is also represented in the titles of the songs.
